DETOX

What's the first thing you think about when you hear the word Detox? For most of us, you see this glass of green liquid to drink. Some see a plate of unfamiliar food to eat with the thought of what have I got myself into. Detox is not just about food. It's about bringing your mental, physical, spiritual, and nutritional body back into balance. When you've watched too much of one thing on any device it can through you out of balance. When you exercise to much or not enough your out of balance. When your spiritual life is non-existent or overactive you become out of balance. When your diet is out of control with too much of any one thing or not enough you are out of balance. It is during that time we must detox. Our bodies speak to us, we just have to be still and listen. The body begins to change and we don't understand why. Depression, aches, and pains craving the wrong food, to name a few. Not taking the time to stop and ask the question, "What's wrong with my body?" Then being still to listen as it speaks to you. As we begin this year take time to get to know the one that knows you best, your body.
